Louis Garsault (b. 1998, Bourges) is a visual artist working at the intersection of photography, science and design. His macro studies reveal the architecture shared by all natural things, turning everyday fragments into sculptural landscapes that sit between recognition and confusion. In doing so, his images restore a sense of kinship with a living world we have learned to see as separate from us.
He first explored analog photography at Amherst College as a Fulbright fellow before earning a degree from Spéos Photography School in 2023.
He is now living in Paris where he balances his own practice with commissioned work.
